8th Crow Wing Lake State Water Access Site

**Location & Access:** The public boat ramp is located on the northeast end of Eighth Crow Wing Lake off Far North Drive in Nevis, Hubbard County. This 492-acre lake is approximately 2.5 miles long and one mile wide, making it well-suited for kayaking and canoeing. Additional boating access is available via scenic channels connecting to the 9th and 10th Crow Wing Lakes.

**Boating Considerations:** Eighth Crow Wing Lake is part of the popular Crow Wing Chain of Lakes near Park Rapids. A small dam at the lake's outlet restricts boating downstream into Seventh Crow Wing Lake, so plan your route accordingly. The connecting channels to adjacent lakes offer scenic paddling opportunities and access to a larger chain for exploration. This is a productive fishing lake known for northern pike, walleye, bass, crappie, and sunfish, so expect recreational boating activity.
