About This Access Site
A-1 Camp provides boat access to Toledo Bend Reservoir, one of the largest reservoirs in the region, located near Noble in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. The ramp is situated at the end of FM 2261 east of Patroon and offers reliable access to the reservoir throughout most of the year. As Toledo Bend Reservoir is administered by the Sabine River Authority of Texas and Louisiana, this is a designated public access point suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats.

Paddlers should note that Toledo Bend Reservoir is a large impoundment with relatively calm, lake-like conditions, making it accessible for recreational paddling and fishing. The site provides basic boat launch facilities, though amenities may be limited compared to developed camps in the area. When planning your visit, contact the Sabine River Authority or local management for current conditions, any applicable fees, and hours of operation.
