Adkins Swamp

**Location & Access:** Adkins Swamp is a boat ramp providing access to waters within the Peabody Wildlife Management Area near Drakesboro in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. The site is part of the larger Sinclair Unit of Peabody WMA, accessible via KY-70, KY-369, KY-176, KY-269, and US-62.

**Important Regulations:** A Peabody WMA permit is required to use this access site and can be purchased at any location selling Kentucky hunting and fishing licenses. Parking is limited to designated areas and maintained roads only—do not block gates or access roads. Note that hunters are prohibited from discharging firearms within 100 yards of the boat ramp, so plan your paddling accordingly, especially during hunting seasons.
