Located in Auxier near Paintsville, the Airport access point (also known as Damsite) provides a convenient launch onto the Levisa Fork of the Big Sandy River. This single-lane concrete ramp features a large paved parking area with easy pedestrian access to the water, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The facility is part of the Paintsville Lake recreation area.
The Levisa Fork offers boating and fishing opportunities through a rural section of eastern Kentucky between Pikeville and Paintsville.
