A.J. Jolly Park

A.J. Jolly Park offers a well-maintained paved boat ramp on the 175-acre A.J. Jolly Lake in Alexandria, Campbell County. The ramp accommodates light trailerable recreational boats and is located at the main park area. Note that a ramp fee applies for launching. The park also rents kayaks and canoes if you don't have your own equipment, making it convenient for paddlers of all experience levels.

The park provides excellent amenities beyond water access, including over 3 miles of paved walking trails, nature trails, a handicap-accessible fishing pier, restrooms, and picnic facilities. A secondary boat ramp is available at the Flatwood RV section at the opposite end of the lake. The calm, lake-based setting makes A.J. Jolly ideal for recreational paddling and fishing rather than paddling rivers with current. Located off US 27 south of Alexandria via KY 824, the site is easily accessible for day trips and offers plenty of facilities for families and groups.
