About This Access Site
The Alameda Fishing Access site provides a boat ramp and access to the San Francisco Bay-East Bay area. This is a popular launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and small recreational boats.

The boat ramp is located on the west side of Alameda, just north of the Ballena Bay Yacht Club. The path from the parking lot to the ramp is paved but has a rough surface. There is a public restroom nearby, though it may not always be in the best condition.

The San Francisco Bay-East Bay area offers diverse recreational opportunities for boaters and paddlers. This part of the bay tends to have relatively calm, protected waters compared to the open ocean, making it well-suited for smaller watercraft. Paddlers can explore the shoreline and marshes, while boaters can access a variety of marinas and launch sites throughout the East Bay region.
