The Alfrey boat ramp is located on the eastern shore of Cave Run Lake near Farmers in Rowan County, Kentucky. To reach it from I-64, take exit 133 (Farmers/Sharkey) and head south on KY 801 for 8.7 miles. Turn right into Twin Knobs, then take the first left onto Forest Service Road 1269—the ramp entrance will be on your left. This location provides convenient access to the expansive 8,270-acre lake.

Cave Run Lake is nestled within the northernmost section of the Daniel Boone National Forest, offering scenic paddling and boating in a well-managed natural setting.
