**Access Details & Requirements:**
Allan Yorke Park's concrete boat ramp at the south end of Lake Tapps is a well-maintained facility operated by the City of Bonney Lake. The ramp is approximately 20 feet wide and can accommodate two boats launching simultaneously. **Important:** As of the 2025 season, this launch is **restricted to Bonney Lake residents only**, who must purchase a Boat Launch parking pass from the Bonney Lake Police Department. Boat trailers cannot be parked at the site. Contact the City of Bonney Lake for current pass fees and application procedures.
**Location & Nearby Options:**
Located at the intersection of Bonney Lake Boulevard and West Tapps Highway, the 45-acre Allan Yorke Park offers a convenient access point to Lake Tapps, a White River reservoir. If you're not a local resident, Lake Tapps North Park on the northeast shore (Pierce County) provides an alternative public boat ramp, bathrooms, and bank access. The area also offers proximity to Mud Mountain Dam, a historic engineering landmark completed in 1948.
