Located 2 miles east of Neosho on Business Highway 60 (accessible via Nighthawk Road), Allen Bridge Access offers a concrete boat ramp with multiple parking lots on a 14.8-acre site along Shoal Creek. The facility includes amenities such as grills, tables, and fire rings, making it a convenient launch point for paddlers and boaters.

Shoal Creek is a substantial waterway—a large river (stream order 6) with an average flow of 738 cubic feet per second and a moderate gradient of 1.5 feet per mile. With typical velocities around 1.5 feet per second, paddlers can expect manageable current conditions suitable for canoes and kayaks. The creek's 81-mile length provides options for various trip distances, and the drainage basin of 903 square miles ensures consistent water levels throughout most seasons.
