Alligator Lake South is an easily accessible public boat ramp located in Lake City, just off the main road on South Marion Avenue. The facility sits on five passive acres and offers ample parking for vehicles and trailers, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. This is one of six county-maintained ramps in Columbia County providing public access to the area's waterways.
Paddlers should note that currently there are no restroom facilities or other amenities at this access point, so plan accordingly before your visit. The ramp provides direct access to Alligator Lake, a popular local destination for both recreational boating and paddling.
