About This Access Site
Located at 3911 Alsea Highway in Waldport, this facility offers a convenient boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats onto the Alsea River. The ramp provides access to the scenic Lower Alsea River, which meanders through the Alsea River Corridor—a popular destination for paddling, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The site is pet-friendly and situated just four miles from Highway 101 and the Oregon coast, making it an accessible entry point for exploring the river's water trails.

The marina offers amenities including on-site docking, moorage, and modern facilities such as showers, WiFi, and electricity. The facility is well-suited for day-use paddlers and overnight visitors, with RV camping available. The surrounding Alsea River Corridor also features several other boat ramps (Riveredge Group Campground, Ermie Walters, and Mike Bauer Ramps) along the lower river, providing multiple access points for longer paddling trips. This area is particularly popular for fall and winter drift boating as well as summer water recreation.
