About This Access Site
This boat ramp provides access to Alum Creek Lake, a large 3,387-acre reservoir with multiple launch facilities. The campground area offers a dedicated ramp for overnight guests, with nearby amenities including a 3,000-foot swimming beach and full-service marina. **Note:** The campground ramp is for registered campers only. Public boaters should use one of the four public access launch points elsewhere on the lake (Marina, Galena, Cheshire, or Howard ramps).

The lake accommodates boats of unlimited horsepower and is suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. A visitor center on-site provides detailed information about recreation opportunities across the entire lake system. The well-maintained campground features both wooded and open sites, with many overlooking the water. If you're planning to use this specific ramp, confirm you have campground registration; otherwise, plan to launch from one of the designated public ramps on the lake. Parking is available, with trailer parking encouraged at the dedicated lot rather than in the campground.
