About This Access Site
Amity Campground offers a convenient boat ramp for accessing West Point Lake, a 35-mile reservoir along the Chattahoochee River on the Alabama-Georgia border. The ramp provides direct, easy access to the lake, which is popular with both power boaters and paddlers.

West Point Lake is a boater's paradise, with over 525 miles of shoreline and 34 public boat ramps scattered around the lake, including the one at Amity Campground. The lake offers excellent opportunities for fishing, sailing, and other water sports. Paddlers will find the lake's calm waters and coves well-suited for kayaking and canoeing.

The campground itself is a waterfront facility with amenities like hiking/biking trails, a playground, and picnic areas. Campsites are reservable, and a camp host is on-site. Boaters and paddlers should note that the campground gates are locked from 10 PM to 7 AM, except for emergencies.
