About This Access Site
Anderson Lake is a 177-acre lake in Oconto County offering public boat access via a dedicated landing near Suring. With a maximum depth of 40 feet and moderately clear water, the lake supports a healthy fishery including musky, northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, and panfish, making it suitable for both fishing and recreational paddling. The relatively modest size makes it manageable for kayakers and canoeists of varying experience levels.

When using the lake, be aware that personal watercraft (PWCs) must operate at slow, no-wake speed within 100 feet of people, boats, docks, or tow ropes, and within 200 feet of shore. All boaters should take precautions to prevent the spread of invasive species—inspect and clean equipment before launching and leaving the lake. The public boat landing provides straightforward water access for launching kayaks, canoes, and other small craft.
