Anderson Park

Anderson Park provides a convenient boat ramp and access point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters on West Point Lake along the Chattahoochee River. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this facility offers year-round access with a boat ramp for launching small watercraft.

The park is located northwest of the West Point Dam and Powerhouse, providing easy access to the wide, navigable waters of West Point Lake. This reservoir spans over 40 square miles and offers excellent fishing opportunities, with numerous creeks and coves to explore. Paddlers and boaters can expect a relatively calm, slow-moving section of the Chattahoochee River.

The boat ramp and adjacent shoreline provide ample space for loading and unloading gear. Anglers can also take advantage of the bank fishing access. Park amenities include a group shelter that can be reserved, as well as picnic sites. Visitors should be aware of any applicable fees or reservation requirements prior to their visit.
