About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Antelope Flat Reservoir is located in Crook County, Oregon, approximately 29 miles southwest of Prineville. From Highway 380, turn right on Forest Road 17 and travel 11.5 miles, then turn left on Forest Road 1700-600 and continue 0.5 miles to the reservoir. The boat ramp is a cement launch located near the dam at the lake's western end, making it easy to get your kayak or canoe into the water.

**Water Conditions & Amenities:** This 170-acre reservoir sits at an elevation of 4,984 feet and offers a convenient day-use area with a boat ramp right at the water's edge. Be aware that the water is frequently turbid due to phytoplankton growth and bank erosion from surface waves, which reduces visibility. A 24-unit campground is located just uphill from the ramp, providing convenient overnight camping options for paddlers planning extended trips.
