Area 11-B is a mid-lake access point on Branched Oak Lake located on the west side off N 126th Street near Agnew in Lancaster County. This one-lane concrete ramp features a dock and gravel parking area, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The ramp provides direct access to the 1,800-acre lake's central waters.
Branched Oak Lake State Recreation Area offers extensive amenities for water enthusiasts. With 14 access areas, nine total boat ramps, and 49 docks throughout the lake, paddlers have multiple entry points. The area includes fish cleaning stations (at Areas 5 and 11), picnic facilities, and a private marina with concessions. A state park permit is required. For overnight trips, two highly developed campgrounds and seven primitive campgrounds are available, with Pawnee Dam-Site 14 Campground located within 10 miles.
The lake accommodates all types of boating and provides excellent recreation opportunities including swimming areas, hiking and biking trails, and fishing. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available near the marina. Plan ahead to secure your permit and check current facility conditions before your visit.
