This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake on the Coldwater River provides eight public boat ramps for convenient water access. The ramps remain open year-round, though the gravel ramp at the Highway 51 Landing parking lot may have limited accessibility depending on river flow and lake levels.
The lake is known for its large crappie population and great sailing conditions, making it a popular destination for anglers and recreational boaters.
