Located just upstream of the Castle Hill Road bridge and easily identifiable after passing a railroad bridge, the launch features a dedicated parking area accessible via Parsons Street along the west side of the river. This location provides good access to a river known for scenic paddling opportunities and is situated in the Appalachian Mountains region of northern Maine.
