About This Access Site
Arrowhead Point Park offers a convenient public boat ramp for accessing the Leon River and upper Belton Lake near Belton, Texas. The facility features a two-lane concrete ramp with 24-hour free access, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats launching at any time. The ramp is located on the east side of the lake near the dam; to reach it, take FM 1954 east and turn north on FM 2606 just before Lake Arrowhead State Park, then follow the road across the dam until it ends at a tee where the ramp is visible.

This USACE-operated site provides straightforward access to the 12,300-acre Belton Lake, a year-round recreation destination known for fishing and boating in Central Texas. The upper Leon River section offers scenic paddling with historical points of interest nearby, including the Charter Oak on the Leon River and heritage sites in the town of Belton. White Flint Park is located at Belton Lake, which provides some of the best fishing, camping and boating in Central Texas. This year-round campground has 12 sites with screened overnight shelters and 13 RV sites, all with water and electric hookups.

Belton Lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the construction of Belton Dam in 1954. The 12,300-acre lake is located on the Leon River, just upstream of the confluence of the Leon River and the Little River. Recreation
With 136 miles of shoreline, Belton Lake offers a wide variety of recreation activities. White Flint Park is most popular for it's quiet, lake-side screen shelters. The Park offers a day use area complete with one multi-lane boat ramp. The lake is also a popular fishing spot for hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, white bass, catfish and sunfish.  
White-tailed deer, hawks, great blue herons, ducks, geese, many species of songbirds, bobwhite quail, Rio Grande turkey, and even an occasional bald eagle visit the lake area, yielding year-round opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts and kids alike!

Facilities Description:
All campsites (RV) and Screen Shelters have water and electric, a covered picnic table, a charcoal grill, and fire ring. A water-bourne (Showers, sinks, flush toilets) are centrally located to the campground. Campsites range from heavily shaded to sun. White Flint Park is located next to the White Flint Wildlife Management Area, which boasts plenty of hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities. In the day use area, campers will find a 1-lane boat ramp with a courtesy dock and a vault restroom facility. The park offers 1 RV dump station (W/ Non-Potable water). Day use fees are now payable via QR codes found in the parking areas by the boat ramp. 

The park is staffed with on-site volunteer campground hosts and maintenance hosts.

Natural Features
All of the campsites are along the shoreline of Belton Lake. The campground is partially forested, providing a mixture of sun and shade.
There is a man-made wetland on the lake between White Flint and Winkler Parks, providing an additional 25 acres of wildlife habitat in the lake area.
Nearby Attractions
Belton Lake is located adjacent to the Fort Hood Army Base, which has several points of interest for the military buff. The mural painted on the spillway wall of Belton Dam depicts the history of the Bell County area.
