Ascension Parish - Sorrento

**Location & Access:** P.J.'s Landing Launch and Lounge is located in Sorrento, Ascension Parish. From US 61, head east on LA 22, continue east on Melancon Road, then turn south onto Bubba Dearmond Road to reach the launch at the road's end.

**Facility & Conditions:** The ramp features a nice, wide concrete boat launch suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. Bayou Francois at this access point is wide with calm water and relatively clean conditions—there is minimal trash and few obstructions from downed trees or debris. The surrounding landscape includes tall grass and trees lining both banks. While not heavily crowded, expect to see other anglers and fishermen using the launch regularly.
