Ash-Ka-Nam Resort offers a full-service boat access point on the Ash River near Orr, located approximately 28 miles south of International Falls and 11 miles off Highway 53. The resort features a complete marina with docking facilities, fuel, and bait services, making it convenient for launching and resupply. In addition to boat access, the resort provides rental options for fishing boats and houseboats, along with winter and summer storage for personal vessels.

The Ash River area is part of one of northern Minnesota's premier boating destinations, connecting to Lake Kabetogama, Lake Namakan, Crane Lake, and Rainy Lake—a region renowned for scenic beauty and recreational opportunities.
