Aspen Point Campground

Aspen Point Campground is a full-service access point on Lake of the Woods in Klamath County, located approximately 39 miles east of Medford via OR-140. The campground features a boat ramp and beach area in the day-use section, along with ample parking for water users. Nearly 40 reservable campsites are available, accommodating tents, RVs, and trailers, with amenities including picnic tables, drinking water, and flush toilets. A group site can accommodate up to 100 guests for larger outings.

The facility is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters seeking a basecamp with convenient water access. Note that Lake of the Woods observes a 10 mph speed limit, making it ideal for paddling and small motorboats. The adjacent day-use area provides access to the High Lakes Trail and Fish Lake, and Fish Lake Resort is within walking distance, offering a convenience store and café. Recreation
Doe Point Campground offers biking, fishing, swimming, paddle boating and hiking opportunities. 

There is easy access to Fish Lake Trail, High Lakes Trail, Brown Mountain Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail. Sky Lakes Wilderness and Mount McLoughlin Trail system are less than an hour drive away.  
Facilities
Drinking water and Fush toilets with wash basins are provided as well as drinking water. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
Natural Features
Fish Lake is a reservoir with 483 acres surface area and is located at 4,639 feet elevation. The lake is supplied by over 45 underground volcanic streams. The southern shore provides really good views of Mount McLoughlin and is bordered by a 2,000 year old lava flow from Brown Mountain. The northern shore accommodates 2 campgrounds and a resort.
