The Assateague State Park boat ramp provides convenient access to Sinepuxent Bay, located on the north side of Route 611 just before the Verrazzano Bridge near Berlin, Maryland. The marina area features two dedicated boat launch ramps plus a soft launch area, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. Additional nearby options include the Sunset Avenue boat launch facility with six paved ramps and lighted parking, as well as a hand launch at Bayside Drive with a sandy beach launch area.
Sinepuxent Bay is a shallow, protected estuary offering calm water conditions ideal for paddlers of all skill levels. The area provides opportunities for exploring the bay and connecting to Ocean City Inlet for those seeking open water.
