About This Access Site
The Stone Arch boat ramp at Atterbury Fish & Wildlife Area provides access to Stone Arch Lake, one of several impoundments within this 270-acre water complex near Nineveh in Johnson County. The ramp features a concrete launch suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats. Stone Arch Lake is open to boating year-round and is restricted to electric motors (24-volt maximum), making it ideal for quiet paddling and fishing.

This wildlife area is well-suited for recreational paddlers and anglers targeting largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, and channel catfish. The site is part of a larger network of ten impoundments within Atterbury Fish & Wildlife Area, including the larger 75-acre Pisgah Lake. For current information on facility hours, parking, and any seasonal closures, contact the Indiana DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife or check their Where to Fish map.
