About This Access Site
Augustus M. Flood provides convenient access to Lake Moultrie near Bonneau in Berkeley County. Located northwest of Monck's Corner off County Road 315 (just above SC Highway 6), this launch features a 2-lane boat ramp with gravel parking for approximately 20 vehicles and trailers. The site is maintained by Santee Cooper, the local power company.

Lake Moultrie is a large, popular reservoir ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating. As a flat-water lake, it offers calm conditions suitable for paddlers of various skill levels. Be aware that this is a popular access point, particularly on weekends—arrive early during peak seasons to secure parking. The ramp's two lanes and moderate parking capacity make it a good alternative to more crowded nearby launches when you need flexibility.
