Bagnell Dam Access

**Location & Access:** Bagnell Dam Access is located at the base of Bagnell Dam on the Osage River in Lakeside, Miller County, Missouri. To reach the ramp, head north of the Osage River Bridge on Highway 54, then take Osage River Bridge Road west approximately 0.4 miles. The access point is operated by the Missouri Department of Conservation and is free for public use.

**Launching & Water Conditions:** This public boat ramp provides direct access to the Osage River below Bagnell Dam. Two brass markers at the bottom of the ramp designate the low water mark—check these before launching, as water levels can fluctuate significantly in this dam-controlled section. The area is suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the Osage River or access the Lake of the Ozarks system.
