About This Access Site
Baird Lake is a 179-acre impoundment located in Callahan County near Baird, Texas, offering a convenient boat ramp for paddlers and boaters. The access site is situated on the east shore of the lake and can be reached via FM 439 from Texas 317 near Belton—follow signs for the park once you pass the dam. The lake provides opportunities for both motorboating and paddling in a relatively sheltered setting.

Anglers will find the lake well-stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish, making it popular for fishing trips.
