About This Access Site
Bantam Lake Boat Launch provides easy access to one of Connecticut's largest natural lakes. Located just off Route 209 in Morris, this launch site features a concrete two-lane ramp and gravel parking area.

The lake itself is a popular destination for a variety of water activities, including sailing, ice boating, fishing, and more. Much of the northern end of the lake, including Marsh Point, is protected by the White Memorial Foundation, home to diverse wildlife. Paddlers can explore the peaceful lake and nearby Bantam River, while motorized boaters have ample room to enjoy the open waters.

Bantam Lake Boat Launch is open to the general public, with a small fee for car-top boats and White Memorial campers. Anglers and those offering guide services on the lake are encouraged to contact the site managers. With its convenient location and variety of recreational opportunities, this launch site is a great option for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters exploring Bantam Lake.
