Barr Lake State Park

Barr Lake State Park offers a convenient boat ramp access point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats on the north half of Barr Lake. The boat ramp is located on the east side of the lake, accessible through the park's main entrance.

Boaters should note that the lake is a relatively calm, shallow body of water, making it well-suited for paddle sports and small motorized craft. The Barr Lake boat ramp is situated adjacent to the north parking lot, providing easy loading and unloading. An Aquatic Nuisance Species inspection station is operational nearby during daylight hours.

Visitors to Barr Lake State Park will also find hiking trails, a nature center, and excellent bird watching opportunities. The nearby Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge offers additional outdoor recreation options. Guests should check current park hours, fees, and regulations before their visit.
