About This Access Site
Bartons Creek Boat Ramp provides access to Old Hickory Lake, a popular recreation destination in central Tennessee. Located in Lebanon, the ramp offers a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters looking to explore the scenic lake and its surrounding waterways.

Old Hickory Lake is a large reservoir covering over 22,000 acres, with ample opportunities for fishing, swimming, and other water-based activities. The lake's calm, navigable waters are well-suited for paddle craft and small motorized boats. Bartons Creek, which feeds into the lake, offers a more intimate paddling experience for those seeking a quieter, creek-like setting.

While the boat ramp area does not have any developed amenities, nearby Cedar Creek Campground provides campsites, a day-use picnic shelter, and access to hiking trails. Boaters and paddlers should come prepared with their own supplies and be aware that there may be fees or other restrictions for using the recreation area. As with any body of water, users should exercise caution and follow all relevant safety guidelines.
