About This Access Site
Bass Lake offers a well-maintained public access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters in Cumberland, Polk County. The 416-acre lake reaches depths of up to 35 feet and provides a scenic paddling destination in northwestern Wisconsin. The access site features two paved boat launches and two courtesy docks, making it convenient for launching and landing various watercraft.

The facility is operated under a maintenance agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and includes a dedicated paved parking lot with 17 stalls (one ADA accessible). A daily launch fee of $10 or annual pass ($30) is required. The site is well-signed and offers paved access throughout, making it accessible for most paddlers and boaters.
