Bass Lake

Bass Lake is a 416-acre lake in Spooner, Wisconsin, offering excellent opportunities for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The DNR-owned access site features two paved boat launches and two courtesy docks, making it convenient for launching and landing watercraft of various sizes. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 35 feet, providing good conditions for paddling and fishing.

The access site provides ample amenities for visitors, including a paved parking lot with 17 vehicle/trailer stalls (one ADA accessible) and clear signage. A daily use fee of $10.00 or annual permit ($30.00) is required. St. Croix County maintains a 20-year management agreement with the DNR for the facility, ensuring reliable upkeep of the ramps and docks.
