Bass Lake is a 416-acre lake in the Town of Somerset, Oneida County, offering a well-maintained public access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The DNR-owned site features two boat launches and two courtesy docks, providing reliable access to this moderate-sized water body with a maximum depth of 35 feet. The paved boat ramp and docks make launching and landing straightforward for paddlers of all skill levels.
The landing includes a paved parking lot with 17 stalls (one ADA-accessible) managed under a maintenance agreement with St. Croix County. A daily launch fee of $10 applies, or $30 annually.
