About This Access Site
Bass Lake is a 416-acre lake located in Crivitz, Oconto County, Wisconsin, offering a well-maintained public access point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters. The DNR-owned site features two paved boat launches and two courtesy docks, making it suitable for various watercraft. With a maximum depth of 35 feet, the lake provides good conditions for recreational paddling and boating throughout the year.

The access site includes a paved parking lot with 17 vehicle and trailer stalls (one ADA accessible) and clearly marked signage. A day-use fee applies ($10 daily or $30 annual), and the facilities are maintained under a 20-year agreement between St. Croix County and the Wisconsin DNR. The paved launch area and courtesy docks make loading and unloading straightforward, making this a convenient starting point for exploring Bass Lake.
