The Bass Lake Channel access site in Waupaca provides a well-developed public boat landing on the 416-acre Bass Lake. The facility features two paved boat launch ramps, two courtesy docks, and a paved parking lot with 17 stalls (including one ADA-accessible space). This makes it an excellent option for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters seeking reliable access to the lake.
The site is maintained by St. Croix County under a agreement with the Wisconsin DNR and is located on approximately 2 acres of DNR-owned land. A daily launch fee of $10 or annual pass ($30) is required to use the facility. With a maximum depth of 35 feet, Bass Lake offers good conditions for various water activities. The combination of paved access, multiple launch points, and dedicated parking makes this a convenient and accessible entry point for exploring the lake.
