Baw Beese Lake offers a convenient public boat ramp access point in Hillsdale County for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. Multiple access areas are available around the lake, including Sandy Beach, Owen Memorial Park, and Waterworks Park along Waterworks Drive, giving paddlers options for launch and take-out points.

Owen Memorial Park includes pavilions available for rent, along with lake access, the Baw Beese Trail for hiking, disc golf, and play areas. Seasonal dock slip rentals are available through Hillsdale Recreation (April 15 – October 15).
