Located in Barrington on the Providence River at Bullock Cove, this public access point offers convenient launching facilities for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The ramp features floating docks on both the north and south sides, with the north dock equipped with a wheelchair-accessible ramp for easier entry and exit.
Bullock Cove itself is a sheltered paddling area, making it suitable for beginners and those seeking calmer conditions. However, be prepared for active boat traffic within the cove. If you plan to venture beyond the cove into the lower Providence River and toward Narragansett Bay, expect more open water conditions with increased wind, waves, and commercial boat traffic. This location provides excellent access to the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and nearby attractions like Roger Williams National Memorial.
