Bay Watch is a convenient public boat ramp and kayak launch located at the mouth of Fish River, adjacent to the U.S. Highway 98 bridge in Fairhope. The site offers direct access to Weeks Bay and serves as an excellent starting point for paddlers and boaters exploring Fish River and the surrounding estuarine system. The facility includes a dedicated kayak launch alongside the traditional boat ramp, making it accessible for various watercraft types.
The site provides a gateway to explore over 6,000 acres of tidal and forested wetlands within the Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, as well as nearby paddling opportunities in the greater Mobile Bay estuary system. The location also features the Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Center, offering educational resources about the area.
