Bearskin Lake

Bearskin Lake is a 403-acre lake in Oneida County near Harshaw, Wisconsin, offering public access via boat ramp on the south side of the lake. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 26 feet and is suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. Be aware that water clarity is low, which may affect visibility and navigation.

The lake supports a healthy fishery with Musky, Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Panfish. Note that there are two boat ramps available—one on the southwest side and one on the southeast side of the lake—giving paddlers options depending on where they plan to explore. The lake's moderate size makes it accessible for day trips and recreational paddling, though the low water clarity means navigation by landmarks or GPS is recommended.
