This launch provides public access via the Forest Preserves of Cook County. To reach the ramp, head west on 132nd Street from Carver Military Academy (13100 S. Doty Avenue).

The site is part of the larger Calumet Open Space Reserve, offering paddlers access to a unique urban waterway. Additional paddling access points exist downstream near Kedzie in the Village of Robbins (approximately 7 miles west).
