Beaver Creek provides boat ramp access to Cave Run Lake, an 8,270-acre reservoir located in Menifee County near Scranton. The site offers parking and is situated within the scenic northernmost section of Daniel Boone National Forest. Cave Run Lake is known for excellent muskie fishing and offers ample water for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating across its expansive surface.
**Important Safety Information:** Swimming or sunbathing is prohibited within 100 feet of the boat ramp for safety reasons. Note that Beaver Creek boat ramp has been temporarily closed due to high water levels and localized flooding—check current conditions before visiting. If the site is open, paddlers can expect a developed access point with standard amenities for launching boats.
Three reservable campgrounds operate nearby within 10 miles, including Claylick Boat-In Campground, Boat Gunnel Group Campground, and Twin Knobs Campground, making this an excellent base for multi-day paddling trips on Cave Run Lake.
