About This Access Site
Beaver Lake County Park in Lachine provides public boat access to Beaver Lake in Alpena County's scenic Beaver Basin Wilderness area. This county-operated launch facility serves kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters looking to explore the lake. The ramp is located at coordinates 44.93°N, 83.79°W and can be accessed by traveling four miles east of Jasper before turning north off State Road.

**Important Access Requirements:** A Watercraft Permit Application and boating permit are required to launch at this site. Both the application and permits are available at the boat ramp itself or at the Park and Recreation office (1301 St. Charles Street). Vehicle restrictions apply—single units cannot exceed 36 feet in length, and combined vehicle/trailer units cannot exceed 42 feet. Note that pets are not permitted in the campground, launch area, or in boats on Beaver Lake.
