Belleville Community Park

Belleville Community Park offers public boat access to Lake Belle View, a 44-acre lake in Dane County with a maximum depth of 7 feet. The ramp is conveniently located in the village of Belleville and is easily accessible to both locals and visitors. This makes it an ideal launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small recreational boats looking for a quick paddling outing.

Lake Belle View supports a healthy fishery with panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and catfish. The shallow water and modest size make it suitable for paddlers of all skill levels seeking calm-water recreation. The park location provides a good base for exploring the lake and nearby waters, including potential paddling routes toward the Sugar River system to the west and access points along Highway 69/92 to the east.
