About This Access Site
Located on the north shore of Ben Irving Reservoir near Tenmile in Douglas County, this well-maintained boat ramp provides primary access for paddlers and boaters on Berry Creek. The facility includes a dedicated boat launch area, parking, picnic facilities, restrooms, and a volleyball court. The reservoir covers approximately 250 acres at full pool (around 100 acres at normal conservation levels), making it suitable for recreational paddling and motorized boating.

**Getting There:** From I-5, take exit 119 (Highway 42) west for approximately 13.3 miles. Turn left on Benedict Road (1.2 miles), right on Ireland Road (0.9 miles), then left on Berry Creek Road to reach the ramp. A large pulloff at 1.3 miles along Berry Creek Road offers a good vantage point to scout conditions before launching.

The reservoir supports fishing for multiple species including black crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, and yellow perch. Water access is limited to the designated boat ramp area, and paddlers should note that primitive water access only is available elsewhere on the reservoir. The location provides a convenient base for exploring Berry Creek and offers easy access to the scenic Cow Creek Back Country Byway for additional recreation opportunities in the area.
