**Location & Access**
Benjy Kinman Lake is located in Gratz, Henry County, on the Boone Tract of the Kentucky River Wildlife Management Area. From Frankfort, take U.S. 127 North about 16 miles to KY 355, then follow signs to KY-389. The boat ramp is accessed via a gravel drive past the parking area and a barn on the right—watch for an unmarked right turn. A paved launching ramp accommodates light trailerable recreational boats and is suitable for kayaks and canoes.
**Boating Regulations & Character**
Benjy Kinman Lake is the only boat-accessible lake among four in the wildlife management area and enforces idle speed only for all gasoline motors, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and small electric boats. The quiet water conditions and wildlife management designation suggest a peaceful paddling experience with minimal wake traffic. Parking is available in a grassy field near the ramp.
