Berry Farm Park provides convenient public access to Wright Patman Lake near Douglassville via the Sulphur River channel. Located about 2.5 miles north of FM 3129 on the south side of the dam, the ramp is accessible year-round and can accommodate boats of all sizes. The facility is free to use and offers parking in the immediate area.
The ramp provides access to Wright Patman Lake, a sprawling 30,000-acre reservoir in the piney woods of northeast Texas with an additional 50,000 acres of surrounding land. Paddlers and boaters using this access should note that the launch is positioned near the Sulphur River channel, offering a direct route into the main lake. The area is suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and powerboating. Nearby Malden Lake Campground (about 10 miles away) offers reservable camping for visitors planning overnight trips.
