The site features a dedicated boat ramp for launching, making access straightforward for small watercraft. The lake is stocked regularly with warm-water species including largemouth bass, channel catfish, and bluegill, making it popular with anglers.
The facility provides good amenities for a day trip, including bathroom facilities, fishing docks, picnic areas, and a short hiking trail. Eight primitive campsites with tables and grills are available if you're planning an overnight outing.
