Bicentennial Park

**Location & Facilities**
Bicentennial Park in Fall River offers convenient public access to the Taunton River via a boat ramp located at the end of Brownell Street. The facility features two launching lanes and ample parking with 47 trailer spots, making it well-suited for larger boats and trailers. There is no launch fee.

**Paddling Opportunities**
This access point is ideally positioned at the mouth of the Taunton River where it meets Mt. Hope Bay, offering paddlers and boaters flexibility to explore the river itself or venture into the bay. The location works well as a starting point for canoeists and kayakers looking to paddle the Taunton River upstream, or for boaters planning day trips into Narragansett Bay and nearby waters. You can also fish from shore at the park. The proximity to the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park and Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve means paddlers can access historically and ecologically significant areas from this launch.
