Big Bass Lake, located near Remer in Cass County, offers a well-maintained public boat launch ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. This 133-acre lake features a maximum depth of 60 feet and provides good recreational opportunities for paddling and fishing. The access site includes two boat launches and two courtesy docks, making it convenient for launching multiple vessels.
The facility is designed for user accessibility and convenience. A paved parking lot accommodates 17 vehicles and trailers, including one ADA-accessible space. The site features paved pathways leading to the water and includes restroom facilities. The excellent condition and handicap-accessible design of the boat ramps make this an easy-to-use launching point for paddlers of all abilities. The courtesy docks are helpful for loading gear or securing boats while you prepare for your time on the water.
